Eddie Joe Spencer, Jr., 49, of Columbus, Ohio passed away from multiple complications on Saturday, June 4, 2011, with his family by his side. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the fifth child of Eddie Joe Sr., and Edna Spencer. He graduated from Champion High School in Champion, Ohio. He worked as a locksmith in Texas.

Eddie was a person who always tried to make others shine; he never wanted to be in the lime life. He always played second fiddle. Eddie was the kind of person who would try to make others look good, and he would never take credit for anything. He was a good brother and his presence will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father Eddie Joe Spencer Sr., and brothers Ronald Jones and Rodney Earl Spencer.

He is survived by his mother, Edna Spencer of Ohio, brothers Kenny Miller of Ohio, Tony Jones of North Carolina, Donald Jones of Ohio, Jeffrey Spencer of Maryland, sisters Irene (Raymond) Wilson of Ohio and Cecilia (Robert) Brown of Ohio, sons Eddie (Aziza) Spencer, III, of Ohio, Joseph Hall of Pennsylvania, Joseph Spencer of Mexico, daughters Latisha Spencer, Latonya Spencer of Ohio, Christie White of South Carolina, Lakeshia Spencer of Louisiana and Latoya Spencer of Ohio, and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
