It is with great sadness that the family of Eddie Murdock Jr. announces his passing, on Tuesday October 16, 2018, at the age of 87 years.
 
Eddie was a 21 year retired U.S. Air Force serviceman who fought war in Korea, and Vietnam for the sake of this country, he was gifted with many talents, Bachelor Degree Franklin University, 32nd Degree Mason, Social Worker for the State of Ohio, a Deacon at Mt. Gerizim Missionary Baptist Church, a singer in a quartet, and Mt. Gerizim Male Chorus, and a renowned Artist. Most important he was a man for “family” he loved the grandchildren, and great grand’s his face would light up for the children.
 
Eddie was predeceased by his father Eddie Murdock Sr., mother Maxie, Brother Charles, sisteir in law Dora Murdock and nephew Waser Kareem.
 
Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Frances and his children BeLynda (Willie), Victor (Vernell), Lawrence, Reginald and Patrick. Eddie will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00pm Monday, November 52, 2018 at Mt. Gerizim Baptist Church, 2633 Mock Rd.
 

Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens

  5. I am so sorry Frances. I just saw the obituary in an old newspaper today. I am sure you are devastated and miss him terribly. I know he is with the Lord and watching over you, but I’m sure that your heartache is great. God bless you and your children. I always think of you when I drive by my parent’s house on Cable.
