Condolence from Michelle Smith on April 3rd, 2021 5:23 pm

Dad,
It’s Michelle. I miss you so very much! I didn’t know that this site was up in regards to your passing but now that I do.. I’d like to express what an inspiration you were to my life. You have been the best father any girl could imagine. I miss you more than life itself . There are many times that I wish that I would’ve spent more time with you while you were here, before God took you home to rest. I was looking forward to seeing you on my birthday as usual so we could catch up and spend our father daughter time together. I see God saw it fit to take you the day before. There’s so many things I wanted to share even more with you. I guess I took life for granted thinking that you would never leave my side. I just want to thank you for making my life better as my father. You’ve always been there for me whenever I needed you. You have never let me down. I’m very grateful for you coming into my/our life teaching me how a man is supposed to treat me, I’m grateful for the upbringing you provided, I’m grateful for you teaching me everything you learned in the military and I’m grateful for the love you gave to me as a child and as an adult for us as your children. I love you Dad…always and forever! You will always remain in my heart and I think about you everyday…until we see each other again…rest in heaven Dad

Love,
Your Oldest Daughter
