BlackwellEfreemJr

Efrem Gerald Blackwell Jr was born December 21,1999 in Columbus, Ohio. Efrem was the 4th child out of 6 children born to Dionne Jackson and Efrem Blackwell Sr. When Efrem was born, he came into this world with an old soul and great obstacles to overcome and God pulled him through. As a child Efrem and his siblings always stuck together like glue. He was always known as the silent talker so we nicknamed him Booka. He loved his family and he loved the ladies and always enjoyed playing and entertaining his little cousins, he was always the comedic one out of his siblings and always had everyone laughing. Efrem always gave a helping hand and liked working to make a buck or two.

Efrem is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joan Blackwell and Eugene Turner Sr, Jannie Jackson, and Charles Owens; aunts, Gloria Parker, Myrtle Grant, Naomi Gordon, Thelma Davis, and Aunts Barbara and Betty; uncles, Ronald Jackson, Eugene Turner Jr, and Joseph Jackson; and cousins, Willie Kimbo Jr and Jonas Sims.

Efrem was survived by his parents, Dionne Jackson and Efrem Blackwell Sr; siblings, Anthony Jackson, Angelo Blackwell, Alecia Blackwell, Elaijah Blackwell, and Eliaini Blackwell; nephews and nieces, Kavontae, Robert Jr, Secret, and Gei-Anii Blackwell; aunts, DeVaughn Jackson [Glenn] Cherita Kendricks [Mathais], Alice Blackwell, Kathleen Turner, Roberta Blackwell, Cheryl Jackson, Sabrina Turner, Ernestine Wilson, and Joycee Brower; uncles, Claude Turner, Johnnie Blackwell [Bonita], Derrick Jackson, Michael Turner, Charles Blackwell, Lydell Blackwell, Ernest Higginbotham III, Raymond Michaels, and Dwayne Jackson; and a host of cousins, too many to list, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Kenya Williams, Kaveion Martin, Qua Martin, Haisaun  Martin.

Efrem was blessed and loved by many people that crossed paths with him and was always a joy to be around and will be dearly missed
