Eiline Marie Burton-Smith, age 83. Sunrise December 4, 1932 and Sunset April 4, 2016. Eiline was a graduate of Central High School; she worked at Lazarus Department Store and retired from Grange Mutual Insurance Co. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church where she sang in the Mass Choir. She was also a member of Eastern Star and The Traveling Ladies Van Club. Eiline was preceded in death by her parents Edmond and Lovella Williams, husbands George A. Burton Sr and Albert Tony Smith, and son Wayne Burton. Left to cherish her memory, son George A. (Jeri) Burton Jr., daughters Charmel Carter and Yolanda (Richard) Hairston, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Monday April 11, 2016 at Refuge Baptist Church 400 N. 20th St. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
