Elanor Kenny (Summers) passed quietly and peacefully at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital on Tuesday March 24, 2020.

Elanor was born May 30, 1938 in Columbus, OH to the late Mr. and Mrs. Summers.

Elanor was employed at Defense Supply Center Columbus after graduating. She worked as a clerk for 44 years until her retirement.

Elanor was content with living a simple life and showed genuine care and concern for others. She enjoyed croquet in the backyard in her early years, listing to oldies but goodies, playing Solitaire, watching sports, Old Western movies, and dancing.

Elanor was preceded in death by her brothers, Leeroy Summers, Arthur Summer, and David Summers; sister, Rut Anne Harlin (Summers); and nephew, David Alexander.

Elanor leaves to cherish her memory, nieces, Tracy Dixon, Kathy “Kat” Duru, Sabrina Duru, Tiffany Duru, and Koriavn “Lil Cory” Duru; nephews, Rodney Turner, Cory Justice, and Bronze “Fats” Duru; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Elanor’s presence was a gift from God. Her spirit will live on. She will truly be missed
