One of the fondest memories I have of Elder Jester is working with the youth doing military drill. The detail and precision our kids displayed when they drilled was reflective of his love and dedication. I’m grateful for his faithfulness to God, his family, and the many young men and women whose lives he touched. Semper Fi (always faithful) describes his life and service.

Condolence from Clarissa Clemons on December 14th, 2021 6:54 pm

To our cousin Yvonne and the Jester family. Elder Ronald Jester was known to the Clemons family as “Cousin Ronnie”. He was always our rock in time of need when a loved one was sick or about to make their transition. His prayers and faithfulness to his assignment to lead others to the Lord was beyond measure. With so many family members he went all the way while giving comfort to the ones left behind. Yvonne you know well that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So just know as Cousin Ronnie left this earthly realm he was immediately met with a cheer from all those loved ones that he had ushered in. And I know the first thing he heard was “Well done! My good and faithful servant! Well Done!” May the God of all comfort be with you and the family.

Condolence from Walter Alexander (Genie) on December 15th, 2021 9:52 pm

Yvonne and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Ronnie was my big brother across the street. He was a good friend and a better man, husband, and father. Grief is a normal reaction to the loss of a loved one. Jesus understood that when his friend Lazarus died, but he resurrected him. At John 5:28,29 Jesus assures all of us that the resurrection of the dead is a sure thing, and we will see Ronnie again. Until then, let God’s word and his Holy Spirit comfort you. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Our prayers are with and for you.
