HAYGOOD,
Elvira Lee Haygood, 81. Sunrise March 18, 1932 in Selma, AL and Sunset April 26, 2013 in Columbus, OH. Mrs. Haygood grew up in Trinity Baptist Church and worked at Scioto Downs Country Club, Holiday Inn Campus and Sheraton Downtown as a Chef’s Assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Emily Burke, husband Ralph Haygood, twin brother Ira Burke, sister Creola Talbert and daughter Geraldine Hawkins. Left to cherish her memory, sons Harry Haygood and Wil Haygood, daughters Diane (Ron) Peyton and Wonder Haygood, stepson Gary (Helen) Mattison, special grandson Tony Stigger, special niece Debra Burke, special daughter in law Renae Jefferson, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
