Emanuel Frazier was born January 28, 1930 to the union of the late Lloyd and Ella Frazier in Columbus, Ohio.

Emanuel was a product of the Columbus Public School system. He attended Franklin University. He also served in The United States Army, Korean War. He retired with over 25 years of service from Franklin
County Engineering.

In his younger years, he started boxing at the Beatty Recreation Center. He was later inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. He then chose another hobby, bowling, where he bowled in various leagues around the city with his sister, Jeanette.

Emanuel is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ella Frazier; sister, Ernestine Bussey; brothers, Daniel Frazier and Rev. James Frazier.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 52 years, Charlotte E. Frazier, children; Penny (Larry) Sampson, Charlotte Frazier, Richard (Katherine) Frazier, Derrick L. Frazier and Kevin L. Frazier, and Dr.
Nicole (Hollis) Johnson, brother; Lloyd (Joyce) Frazier, sisters; Barbara Yarborough, Marva Garrett and Jeanette Barnett; brothers-in-law Thomas (Cail) Byrd and Louis (Myrna) Byrd; sisters-in-law;, Dorothy Byrd, Marian Cook, Shirley (Hubert) Carter and Hiwatha Hall, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 1080 E. Broad Street.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
