Eric Bradford Jacobs Sr., was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania September 10, 1956 to Ruby and Edward Jacobs.

He enlisted into the Air Force as a young man, traveled and even settled down in Texas for several years before returning to Philadelphia and attending cosmetology school, knowing the importance of a trade.

Condolences for the family of “Eric Bradford Jacobs Sr.”

Condolence from Denise Taylor on April 8th, 2021 12:34 pm

Growing up, I never looked at Eric as a Cousin. But my “Big Cousin” like a “Big Brother”. I always looked at him as, ” He is so cool”. (Like one of the Jackson 5 or something). I will remember all of the fun times, his crazy stories and all of the dancing. I am glad that our last conversation was powerful and meaningful. Thanks for being that Black King , Strong Brother that the world needs.

Family —- love strong and continue to support each other and love one another. Carolyn, thank you for making my cousin’s final years happy ones. Thank you or joining out Family. Bonnie, thank you also for good times, Manny, Eric, Stacy (Huuuuuugs). The Philly Family sends lot’s of hugs.

Condolence from Cheryl Johnson on April 9th, 2021 8:11 pm

I am at a lost for words. I can not express what my heart is feeling right now. I remember Eric as we were growing up. Laughing, joking, talking, dancing, stealing cha-cha steps from each other. Those were the days. God has given us memories to help our hearts to heal from the sorrow we feel. May the Lord bless and keep you and comfort you during this difficult time. May the Lord turn your tears of sadness into tears of joy, exchange beauty for ashes and give you a garment of praise and turn your mourning into dancing as you remember Eric. Peace to the family.
With much love
Cheryl A Johnson
