Eric L. “Ricky” Boydston, Jr., 43. Sunrise December 16, 1967 – Sunset May 27, 2011. Ricky was born in Rochester, NY. The family moved to Columbus and attended Smyrna Baptist Church. A 1986 graduate of CAHS, he attended Allegheny College and graduated from Bliss College. He worked at CIGNA Healthcare and Aetna Insurance Company. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Willie Ruth Sparkmon and grandfather Clarence Scott. Left to cherish his memory, mother Annie Williams, father Eric Boydston, Sr., sisters D’Andrea Brown and Erica Boydston, brothers Lamar Boydston, Derrick Graggs, and Paul Williams, two nieces, three nephews and a host of other family and friends.

I am so deeply sadden to hear that we have lost a special love one. This news really sadden me but I must rejoice, Ricky has gone to be with the Lord now. I know he is resting in peace. To the family, I pray that God will comfort you and give you the strength you need. I know that there will be lonely nights, just remember the legacy that Ricky has left! Im sorry I will not be able to be there to comfort you all, however, know that I'm there in the spirit! Love you all!!! Boochie…..
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family during this emotional transition. Jesus said he would go to prepare a place for us……know in your hearts that the Lord had prepared Eric's place. Be comforted in knowing others share in your loss. We pray that God bless the family and restore and renew you. Whenever He takes something from you He gives back. Be blessed.

We were shocked and sadden to hear the passing of a very kind man. He was a good neighbor to my husband and me. We will miss him. May God watch over you at your time of need and may HIS healing bring you comfort as the days grow long. I will miss Ricky's smile and just a friendly hello. We miss you Ricky RIP.

I know what you are feeling at this time but try to remember all the good times you shared with Ricky, all the times he cut up or made you smile because he is at peace now. And I know he is with God and smiling that big smile. He is safe and being welcomed home. My prayers are that God will, in time, ease your burden and pain and let you know that he is still watching over you all. Love to the family.

I am sadden and so shock to just hear of Ricky's passing. I am so sorry and I understand ur pain because u (we) r a close knit family. Ricky is with his master and in his master's house.
