Eric Tyrone Downs II , age 32, passed away on June 27, 2021 at Ohio Health Mansfield. Eric was born on July 6, 1988 in Mansfield, OH to Eric Down I and Tracey Trammell. Eric attended Mansfield City Schools, and Job Corps. Eric was a member of Maddox Memorial COGIC. Eric loved to spend time with his family, his children and loved to make people laugh. He was good with numbers and fixing cars. Eric genuinely loved helping others beyond his own limitations, he wanted everyone to excel.
Eric is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Arthur Swason, maternal grandfarther, Horace Trammell, uncle, Tony Pigget, and godmother, Sue Davidson.
Eric is survived by mothers, Tracy Trammell and Dianne Muffett; father, Eric Downs I; great grandmother who raised him, Oma Lee Muffett; grandmother Mary Helen Robinson, Berthina Lindsay; grandfather Larry Isom Sr.; children, E’Lyric and E’Layasia Downs; siblings, Edward Hairston, Kwame Scott, Key’Erica Down, Erica Downs, Ricky Trammell, Deriq Trammell, Nevaeh Trammell and special brother Scottie Robinson; special uncle Daniel Muffett; goddaughter Danine Davis; godfather, Jamie Hilliard and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation 12:00 noon and Funeral Service 1:00PM Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Maddox Memorial COGIC 1148 Walker Lake Rd. Mask and Social Distancing are required. Pastor Aaron Williams Jr., Eulogizing.

I can’t even think of the right words to say, it hurts so much that your gone. I can’t pick up the phone and call you or get 1001 calls from you telling me to do something, Eric I’m gonna miss you so much, you were someone that I could talk to for advice, someone to cry to, or someone to just yell at when I’m having a bad day.
