Ethel Geneva Stegall Neal

Ethel Geneva Neal, 88, of Columbus, Ohio went to be with The Lord Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her residence. Ethel was born December 16, 1924 in Rienzi, Mississippi. She was the youngest daughter of Jefferson and Odie (Gibson) Owens.

Ethel lived in Mansfield, Ohio for 48 years. She was a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, under pastor Rufus Martin, where she served on the Mothers Board, Sunday School Teacher, and anywhere the Pastor needed her. She loved to read her bible and listen to Gospel Music.

She was the best Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and Friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, King, Johnie and Roger Owens, 4 sisters Lorian Polk, Jeffie Horton, Hazel King and Bernice Dunn, 1 great grandson Kevon Matthews and 1 great great grandson.

She is survived by her son Johnie Stegall of Columbus, daughter Sandra (Delbert) Thompson of Columbus, three grandsons, Jeff Young, Johnie Stegall Jr. of Columbus and Jason Stegall of Xenia, 6 granddaughters Tammy Stegall of Akron, Juan (Mark) Gamble, Vivian Young, Andrea Young, Tesheeka Thompson of Mansfield, and Stepanie Tunsta of Xenia, 28 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren, sister Dorothy Owens of Mansfield, 1 son in law Andrew Thompson of Mansfield, several nieces and nephews and friends.
