MOORE,
Evelyn V. Moore, 84. Sunrise September 20, 1928 in Williamson, WV and Sunset November 3, 2012 at Echo Manor in Pickerington. Evelyn graduated from Central High School, was a member of Gary High School Alumni Assoc., retired as a Cosmetologist and was a member of Rehoboth Temple Church of Christ where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, the Go Forth Women's Auxiliary and with the Nurses and Usher Ministries. She also sang with The Templeaires Choir, The Rehoboth Temple Praise Team, Majestic Choir, Von Thomas and Friends, Von Thomas and The Interdenominational Love Choir, Alvis Moore and The Expressions of Praise and the Shaw Family Singers. She was preceded in death by her parents Mother Myrtle V. and Elder John Bernard Shaw Sr., son Anthony L. Moore, sisters Eunice Royster, Hattie Thompson and Doris Barnett and brothers David and Ellis Shaw. Left to cherish her memory, sons Henry (Lillie) Shaw and Alvis (Pearl) Moore, brother John (Hester) Shaw, Jr. sisters Helen (Ike) Griffin and Lorice (Gene) Williams, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
