Fannie Fisher

FisherFannie

Fannie Louis Fisher was born on November 2, 1953 in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Fannie was born to the parents Cloratee Nickerson and James Nickerson Sr. She was the 3rd born out of 8 children.

Fannie likes to be around her family and friends. In Fannie’s free time she likes to go to the casino, play her crossword puzzles, and play on her tablet. She would give you the shirt off her back; if you needed a place to stay, her door was always open. Fannie had the most beautiful smile that will brighten your day. When Fannie gets juiced up, she goes around the room messing with everybody, but you couldn’t help but to love her. She loved hanging with her grandkids.

Fannie was called home to be with the Lord on November 19, 2021, in the home of her daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids. Fannie attended the School District of East Saint Louis 189. Fannie was employed at a Flowerama in the 90’s in Columbus, Ohio. She continued her journey here in Columbus, Ohio after relocating here at the age of 45 years old. She began her own life here.

Fannie will be remembered with love and greatly missed of the many lives she touched in time.

Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Fisher, Sr.; parents, Cloratee Nickerson and James Nickerson, Sr.; brothers, James Nickerson Jr. and Orlando Nickerson; sisters, Norma Nelson and Annie Nickerson; one nephew, Brushawn; three great grandchildren, Baby Dallas, Alaysia, and Baby Lamar; and loving companion, Jerry “Tip” Phillips.

Fannie is survived by her children, Demetrise (Brandon), Delisa (Kevin), Ervin (Sandra), and Cloteria (Adrian); grandchildren, Bobby (Ashley), Cornelius, Truvon (Shayla), Victorian (LaMar), Darius (Wendy), Antuanitte, Anthony, Demetrise (Jeramine), Ervin III, Saraia, Tyrone, Adri’Yonna, Kearstahn (Daniel, Sr.), and Toney (Dathan); 32 great grandchildren; special son, Lemue; three sisters, Barbara Lusk, Linda Nickerson, and Shirley-ann Nickerson; one brother, Bruce (Mechelle) Nickerson, all of Illinois and California; sister/cousin, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Frierson of Fairview Heights, IL; special friend/sister, Doris Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
