Fidel Jonathan Williams unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, November 03, 2020 who lived a healthy and strong life for 34 years.

Fidel was born unto the union of mother, Sally Kemokai and deceased father, Retired Lt. General Samuel O. Williams Sr. in Mattru Jong, Republic of Sierra Leone at the UBC mission hospital on June 13, 1986. His alma mater is Mini Howard middle school, Hayfield Secondary high school of the state of Virginia. Fidel attended Columbus State Community of Columbus, Ohio.

Fidel’s family and friends love him more than words can express. He also leaves behind too many friends to list around Sierra Leone and in his home state of Ohio. Fidel enjoyed and had deep passion for music, spending time with his family and friends.

Fidel is going home to join his late father Retired Lt. General Samuel Omar Williams of the Arm Forces of Sierra Leone who was unfortunately murdered December 22, 2016. Fidel never got over the death of his father. May their souls rest in God’s peace.

Fidel was known for his enormous heart and his listening ear.

Fidel was a humble, respectful kind, and loving son and brother who leaves behind his mother, Sally Kemokai; step father, Richelieu Cooper; sister, Samuella Williams; brother, Samuel O. Williams Jr.; grandmother, Bendu Kemokai, and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins, including William’s, Sharriff Haidara, Kemokai’s, Zoker’s, Missisquoi’s, Milton’s, Magais’, Contehs’, Kpaka’s, Sesay’s, Kakays’, Waritay’s, and many other who loved him dearly.

Fidel will be deeply missed by his many family, friends and all who knew him throughout the Ohio, Virginia, and Sierra Leone.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Friday, November 20, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
