Frank “Jerk” Harvell, Jr

HarvellFrankJr2

On Saturday, August 28, 2021, God let Frank Joshua Harvell Jr. (J.J) know that his earthly body had been lent to us long enough and it was time for him to gain his heavenly wings.
Frank was born February 13, 1986, to Frank and Willia Harvell. Frank Jr. Is preceded in death by his sister Makia Harvell; and his Grandparents Mary & Calloway Reeves and Gertrude & William Harvell.

Frank is survived by his parents Frank and Willia Harvell. Daughter Raegan Harvell. Sisters: Barbara Robinson, Monica Harvell, Michele Harvell, and Akiaya Harvell; Nephews Gregory Johnson, Christopher Johnson, and Ishmael Cody-Harvell. Etched in his heart forever will be Stache Wood, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, childhood friends and special friends: Shay Robinson and Quanie Castlin.

Frank was a graduate of the Beechcroft High School class of 2004. During His senior year, Frank Jr. received a football scholarship to Muskingum University and played until he received a career ending injury. Frank Jr. was well-known in the community and meant so much to so many, especially to the Legacy Youth Football League and his Columbus Outlaws family. Frank Jr. led his team to several championship titles and he never missed an opportunity to uplift his boys. Frank was always full of life and his love and passion for his family was contagious. When he entered the room his smile would brighten your day, and his hugs were like no other.

On December 15, 2017, Frank Jr. Received his greatest title in life which was “Dad”. He was a dedicated father and there was nothing that warmed his heart more or made him happier than being Raegan’s dad; It was what he lived for. He cherished her and the time they spent together taking every opportunity he had to spoil her. In the brief time we had to treasure Frank Jr.; his inner joy continually shined and we all loved him instantaneously. Frank will be missed.
