Frankie E. Webb

Frankie Webb, age 77, of Columbus, OH, passed away on October 10, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

Frankie was the first of five children born to Vera and Simmi Sellers on October 29, 1944, in Six, W. Va. She received her formal education in W. VA. at Excelsior High School.

Frankie and her cousin Gloria moved to NY two years after graduation. It was there that she began her career at the New York Telephone Company. A job in which she would excel for more than thirty-five years.

In February 1968, Frankie married the late James (Jimmy) Webb, who preceded her in death in November 2013. To this union, three children were born: Tammy, Kenneth, and Ashley.

Frankie loved and cared for her family deeply. In any way that she could be of assistance, she wouldn’t hesitate to do so. She also had a love for food. Especially sweets! She was a skilled (excellent) baker of cakes, something still talked about and fondly remembered by her friends and co-workers at the phone company today. However, she loved one thing almost as much as her family and friends: QVC! For those of us that know, let us share a laugh!

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Simmi Sellers, and sisters, Gladys Yarbrough, Jeanette Logan, and Yolanda Sellers.

Frankie leaves to cherish her memory children, Tammy (NY), Kenneth (OH), and Ashley (NY); grandchildren, Amaya and James Jr. (Ashley Palmer); sisters, Shirley (Roy) Jones and Ernestine (Thomas) Anderson; aunt, Carrie “Tootsie” Spraggins; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
