Franklin Louis Douglas (Frank), age 65, was born on May 17, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. Frank was born to Mary Douglas and Clyde Dalton. Frank fought a good fight while going through his medical conditions until he went home to the Lord on May 6, 2021. We all say that he “fought a good fight” because never in life couldn’t you count him out. He was the man to call for any reason because he would always come through.

Frank started working at a young age. He was known for being a jack of all trades, fixing and repairing most anything from household to automotive. Frank was a hard worker, professionally he worked as a welder and took pride in all of his work no matter how big or small the job was. He liked challenging task because he could master his skillset and develop more opportunities for himself. He also enjoyed demonstrating what he learned, so if you were around while he was working on something, you were going to learn that day! That is what made Frank special. He was not selfish; specially, with his knowledge.

When it came to sports, Frank was serious! No one could win a debate about sports with Frank – you better know your place! Frank was an avid fan of WWE. We believe he thought he was a wrestler himself and had his own belts to prove it. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State, and the Lakers. Frank enjoyed grilling and having fun with family and friends. He was the life of the party; and, if you ever wanted to be told the truth, he was your guy – and, you may not want to be the sensitive type. This was his way of providing guidance to those who pursued. He cared about his friends and family and truly wanted the best for all he loved.

Frank is preceded in death by his father Clyde Dalton, mother Mary Douglas, son Franklin Walker, brothers William (Bill) Douglas and Thomas (Tom) Douglas.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Tywona Douglas, TaShona (Gary)Corvi, Earnestine Smith, sons, Terrell Douglas, Hassan Smith, sisters Belva (Stephen) Douglas-Carter, Carmen Gray and Andrea (Tony) Douglas; brothers Mike and Tim Dalton. Micheal (Gwen) Douglas Granddaughters, Seanea, Seantea, Tayonna, Honesty, Amari, Essence, Jakyla, and Sukya. Grandsons; Isaiah, Gary, Elijah, Hassan, Jayden, and Tyree.

Frank will be greatly missed, left a huge impact on his family and friends and will be forever in the hearts of many.
