Franklin Thomas Brown of Cedartown, Georgia was born December 31, 1936 to Homer Brown and Jessie Brown. Franklin passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio.

Franklin graduated from Felston School. After graduation he took a job working for Nationwide Insurance from 1966 to 1996.

Franklin was a master carpenter, master brick mason and a master mechanic. Which allowed him to have a side construction business. He was also a car dealer he would sell cars all the time.

Franklin is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Brown, and Jessie Brown; Deceased siblings, Lucy Brown-Pollard, Louie Chubb, Doris Sewell, Ann Conner, Hermon Brown, Mary Francis Harris, Josephine Ware.

Franklin leaves to cherish his memories his children, Sheila Moore Boston Mass, Marsha Brown (deceased) Cleveland Ohio, Carla Brown (Columbus Ohio), Quezi Ashibu (Columbus, Ohio); grandchildren, Timothy Howard, Michael Moore, Gregory Brown, Lafayette Brown, D’Ray Brown, Dashawn Brown; greatgrandchildren, Karlie Brown, Stephon Womick, Eric Brown, Kamora Brown; Siblings, Celestine Shields (Columbus, Ohio), Arretta Johnson (Cedartown, Georgia), Jewel Strickland (Akron, Ohio), James Brown (Cedartown, Georgia), Jerry Brown (Columbus,Ohio).

Franklin will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Private services Visitation 2:00 PM and Funeral Service 3:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

A mask is mandatory.
