Frederick Gray Jr., age 56, of Columbus, Ohio went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 1, 2020.

Fred was born on May 7, 1964 to Emma Middlebrooks and Fred Gray Sr., in Columbus, Ohio.

Fred was a 1982 graduate of Central High School. He is the founder and owner of Gray’s Painting. Fred enjoyed music, poetry, and his dogs. His passion was being surrounded by family and friends.

Fred was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lawrence Middlebrooks; son, Zion Gray; and stepbrother, LaVell Gray.

Fred is survived by wife, Rachel Gray; children, Donmiano, Deshawn, Javell, and Trinity Gray, Donavon Davenport (Christen); step-children, Joe Cotton and Deante Wilson; 18 grandchildren; brother, Steve Gray; nephews, Chad, Zachary and Jacob Gray; great nephews, Jaden and Noah; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins whom loved him dearly.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
