Galey Hodge was born on April 25, 1932 in Martinsville, Virginia to John “Johnny” William and Lillie Belle (Penn) Hodge. He unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio.

Galey served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and worked for Kal Kan Manufactory for 18 years.

Preceded in death by parents, John and Lillie Hodge; wife, Mable Hodge; and siblings, Henry Hodge, Sallie France, Richard Hodge, Anna Hodge, Hattie Hodge, Viola Swanson, William Hodge, Lillie Hairston, James Hodge, Walter Hodge, Dewey Hodge, Andrew Hodge, and Lucy Dillard .

Galey leaves to cherish his memory, children, Charlie Hodge, Carrie Edwards, and Kevin (Patricia) Edwards; grandson, Lamont Edwards; and a host of family and friends.
