Georgia Mae Tucker was born March 3, 1929. She departed this life on June 11, 2022.
Georgia attended high school in Lagrange, Georgia. She worked many years at Grant Hospital as a ward secretary in Columbus, Ohio. Georgia was a member of Friendship Baptist Church for many years.
Georgia is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Tucker; parents, George and Queen Esther Edwards; siblings, Almeta Bolden, George Edwards, Jr., and Mable Hodge; nieces, Cynthia Edwards and Carrie Edwards; and great nephew, Caleb Kekeh.
Georgia’s memories will forever be cherished by her beloved sisters, Lilly Wilburn and Elizabeth Merritt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Georgia will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.

I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing a beautiful spirit .She always had a smile with kind words of wisdom to follow. Ms. Georgia trained me as a unit clerk, during my training she was the most kind encouraging teacher. there will not be another person like her. Also she had a beautiful sister Mable we called her Nan, Nan.no one will ever compare to these wonder spirits that God sent here on earth. Juanita Bradley
