Geraldine Emma Perry Watts was born August 27, 1934 to John Fletcher Perry and Minnie Neal and went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2019.
Geraldine was a member at Praise Temple Community Church for many years. She was employed at Federal Glass. She retired from The Ohio State University and Columbus Art and Design. Geraldine was known to say “I was born at OSU, I worked at OSU, retired from OSU, and her doctors were at OSU, she was officially a buckeye for life.”
She leaves to cherish her memory; cousin Akila Alston whom she called her daughter, and Aishia Wright whom she called her granddaughter, God sons Larry Owens, Lamar Owens, and Jordan Woods, the Perry’s, Eccles and Alston family, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Woods, also a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2019 at Praise Temple Community Church, 2618 Bethesda Ave.
