Gregory George Ginns, 72, passed away on February 10, 2022. Gregory was born on March 23, 1949 in Pocatello, ID to Jimmy Ginns and Dorothy Ginns.

He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Gregory was formerly employed at Richland County Transit. He was a Jehovah’s Witness and attended Mansfield East Kingdom Hall.

He is preceeded in death by his parents; daughter Trina K. Ginns; grandson, Tyreese Latrell Ginns; brother, Charles Brent Ginns; sister, Carolyn James Norris; mother in law, Mary E. Webb and brother in law, Joe Lee Williams.

Gregory is survived by wife Johnetta Ginns; daughter Dionne Ginns; son, Eric (Jamie) Ginns and Anthony C. Williams; sisters, Betty Joe Atkinson and Claudette Jefferson; 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 5:00pm – 7:00pm Friday February 25, 2022 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD, 753 McPherson St.

Funeral Service 9:00am Saturday February 26, 2022 at Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace Mansfield.

Interment with Military Honors at Mansfield Cemetery.
