Gregory George Ginns, 72, passed away on February 10, 2022. Gregory was born on March 23, 1949 in Pocatello, ID to Jimmy Ginns and Dorothy Ginns.
He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Gregory was formerly employed at Richland County Transit. He was a Jehovah’s Witness and attended Mansfield East Kingdom Hall.
He is preceeded in death by his parents; daughter Trina K. Ginns; grandson, Tyreese Latrell Ginns; brother, Charles Brent Ginns; sister, Carolyn James Norris; mother in law, Mary E. Webb and brother in law, Joe Lee Williams.
Gregory is survived by wife Johnetta Ginns; daughter Dionne Ginns; son, Eric (Jamie) Ginns and Anthony C. Williams; sisters, Betty Joe Atkinson and Claudette Jefferson; 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 5:00pm – 7:00pm Friday February 25, 2022 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD, 753 McPherson St.
Funeral Service 9:00am Saturday February 26, 2022 at Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace Mansfield.
Interment with Military Honors at Mansfield Cemetery.

Of my cousin Gregory George Ginns. He was such a positive caring man of God always with that beautiful smile
He is safe in the arms of God now absent from the body present with the Lord praying for the Ginns family love Rev Robert and Betty Edwards and Eva Davis
My thoughts and prayers are with Sister Johnetta Ginns. I look forward to the day, Sister Ginns, when in paradise, I can see you and brother Ginns at a picnic or dinner and shake his hand and hug you. I love you my sister.
