Gregory Keith Pleasant was born in Huntington, West Virginia on July 4th, 1964 to Anna Mae Pleasant and Roland W. Pleasant. It was that same year they moved to Columbus, Ohio and began making his mark. Greg loved to meet and talk to people. Everyone knew how much he loved to talk. By how much he talked we all knew how much he loved his dear wife, his kids, his grandson, parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. When fall Saturdays come around, you never made plans with him that didn’t revolve around The Ohio State Buckeyes, and on fall Sundays, you can bet he’d be watching the Dallas Cowboys. Any other day, you can catch him in his favorite spot in his basement with a bottle of hot sauce next to him watching his WWE Channel. When he was able to work, he worked to provide for his wife and kids. He also took great pride in instilling great values in his kids like how to love, respect, and care for one another. He was very proud of his sons Gregory and Grant, watching them grow into young men and accomplish their goals. Nothing made him happier than when he was able to hold his grandson, Grant Kenneth Pleasant II (a.k.a. his lil spunion). It was a magical moment, and quite possibly the highlight of his life.
