Habeeba Hurley, age 79. Sunrise June 15, 1940 and Sunset March 26, 2020.
Habeeba was born in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Columbus Central High School. She lived most of her adult life in Chicago, IL. where she was a bank teller. Habeeba was once a finalist for the Brownsville Pagdent. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends., sports (especially The Chicago Bulls) and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Mamie Carmon; husband, James Hurley; brothers, Owen and Khaleed and sisters, Anna and Saleema.
Left to cherish her memory, brother ILM Carmon, a host of nieces and nephews, first cousins, the Brannon Family; first cousins The Ellison Family, god daughter, Joy Lisa Waters and many friends in Chicago.
Visitation 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 9, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
