Hannibal Charles Stanley lovingly known as HC, was born, and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi July 11, 1950.

“HC”, is the fourth child out of eighth and the fourth brother (out of 5) born to Hannibal Charles Senior and Bernadett Tate Stanley.

He is predeceased  by his parents his brother Hosie Stanley, brother Edward, and Darren Stanley and sister Anita Martin.

HC graduated from Carver High School in 1969 where he excelled in varsity basketball and football.

He moved to Ohio in 1971 working in the environmental specialist field for many years later retiring from Scioto management in 2016. Hannibal was a longtime member of St. James the less Catholic Church on Oakland Park

An avid sports fan, HC knew it all about baseball basketball and football. He could give you statistics on any game any player any sports facility at any time he knew it all or he like to think he did

HC was a long-time die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan he also was a huge Philadelphia 76ers fan these two teams could do no wrong.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother Salem Stanley (Gaynelle), sisters Teresa Stanley and Doris Stanley Brown.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, a host of nieces and nephews that he dearly loved and cherished.

HC was adamant about knowing about all their schooling, and what they were doing, their jobs, where they lived and, to know where they were going and what they were doing at any given time. He genuinely cared about them all.

He knew everyone’s birthday to the date and time he dearly loved his nieces and nephews, and he will surely be missed by all.
