Harvey Curtis Brown was born September 2, 1957, passed away December 31, 2022.

Harvey attended South High School. He graduated in 1978. He was employed at Columbia Gas Company.
Harvey loved having fun. He loved to dance and sing. He enjoyed watching others dance. He especially enjoyed watching them doing a dance called the washing machine. Decorating houses was one of his passions. He also loved to draw.

Harvey was the life of every party. He especially enjoyed the holidays and said to his family, “what are you cooking”.

He will truly be missed. Harvey is preceded in death by his mother, Alberta (Mattie) Brown and father, Joel Walter Brown Sr; brothers, Frankie and Edward Brown; sister, Barbara Jean (Brown) Wharton. He leaves to cherish his memory son, Tyquan Brown; brother, Joe Walter Brown Jr., Marvin Brown, Dexter Brown; sister , Tawanna Brown as well as a host of nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
