Harvey Lee Harper Jr., age 58. Sunrise August 9, 1960 and Sunset October 19, 2018.
Harvey is preceded in death by father Harvey Lee Harper Sr., mother Margaret Ann Harper, and sister Alfreda Renee McGhee.
He leaves to cherish his memory; son Harvey (Danielle) Banks, 3 Grandchildren. brothers Gregory, Craig, and Chris (Renee) Harper, and sister Latonia (Blythe) Lampkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Harvey will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Visitation 6:00pm and Funeral 7:00pm Friday, October 26, 2018 at Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace East, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

My Condolences to the Harper Family I met Harvey when we lived out West Cornerstone Apt he will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences for your loss of Mr. Harper. His death has brought sadness, not only to the many who loved him and to those whose lives him touched, but also to many others who learn of it. Gone much too soon. Jehovah Almighty shares your loss (Psal 83:18; Ezekiel 18:32). He promises to bring back perfectly healthy, with the prospect of living forever on paradise earth (Psalm 37:11, 29; Job 33:25). You can put full confidence in Him because He CANNOT lie (Isaiah 55:10-11; Titus 1:2). Jesus taught us to pray for that marvelous time (Matthew 6:9-10). Harvey was a very good friend of mine…. I was looking for him and found his obituary. I was shocked. My condolences to his family.
