On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, our beloved mother and grandmother, Helen L. Robinson, passed away peacefully in her home. Helen relocated to Ohio from New York and retired from LifeCare Alliance after previously working at Ideal Toy Company, Queens Child Guidance Center and Whetstone Nursing Home.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas T. Robinson Sr. and is survived by her seven children – Douglas Jr., Regina, Russell, Denise, Darryl, Renita and Roxanne, (3) brothers, (1) sister, (11) grandchildren, (18) great-grandchildren, (1) brother-in-law, (1) sister-in-law and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation and viewing will be held at Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace-East, 5456 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio from 1-3 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2022.
The funeral service will be held at Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home, 1 Troy Avenue, Brooklyn, New York from 5-9 pm, Friday, December 2, 2022.
Helen will be laid to rest at The Evergreens Cemetery, 1629 Bushwick Avenue, Brooklyn, New York at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 3, 2022.
