Henry W. Posey, age 90. Sunrise September 9, 1926 in Johnston, SC and Sunset March 20, 2017 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, OH.
Henry was a member of Rose Spring Church in Johnston, SC. He was a veteran of The U.S. Air Force and retired Furnace Tender at Timpken Roller Bearing.
Henry was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Posey Turner; and siblings Willie James Posey, Rosetta Terrell, Wayman Posey and Stanfield Posey.
Left to cherish his memory, wife of 68 years, Claudia M. Posey; daughters, Dr. Sue Ann (Theodore) Howard of Las Vegas, NV, Lynette (Dennis) Goodman of Griffin, GA, and Terri K. Dover of Columbus, OH; sister in law, Ruby Posey; granddaughter, Tamika Barker; great grandchildren, Diamond Bailey and Nikyah Barker and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Saturday, March 25, 2017 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment with Military Honors at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Your loved one lived a long life.He was given what the Bible speak of as “special mightiness” at (Psalms 90:10).May you cherish his memory and look toward the hope of the resurrection promised at (John 5:28,29).At that time,he will never again say,”I am sick”.(Isaiah 33:24)I’m sorry for your loss.
