On Thursday November 7, 2019 James A. Bond, also known as “Bo”, son, uncle brother and father of one passed away at age 62.

James Bond was born June 23, 1956 in Bedford, Virginia to Edith and Floyd Bond. James Bond and was one of eight children. Growing up he enjoyed running through the corn fields, running track and could throw anything and hit his target.

Bo came to Columbus, Ohio with his sister, Blanche Harris, in 1980 after serving in the military where he served not once but twice. Bo did many things while residing in Columbus from interior design landscaping as well as working on cars. Bo’s greatest accomplishment of all was fathering his only son James A. Bond, Jr.

Bo kept an upbeat silly personality and was always in good spirits. If he was in the room you were guaranteed to smile.

Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Edith in Floyd Bond; brothers, Johnny Bond, Willy Bond, Floyd Bond, and William Bond; and sister, Blanche Harris.

Bo is survived by son, James Bond, Jr; grandson, Semaj Bond; sister, Sandra Barnes; brother, Otis Bond; and brother-in-law that has been more than a brother and have stood beside him all the way to the end, Earl Harris. Bo had a host of nieces and nephews cousins and dear friends he is loved by many and kept a special relationship with all that came encounter with him James Allen Bonds will be missed and never forgotten.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Friday, November 22, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
