Condolence from Jodelle Mixon on January 11th, 2022 11:40 am

Our love and deepest sympathies to Janice, Jimmy Jr. and Renee. Jimmy was always with Janice when she babysat for the Mixon clan. He was the friendliest person, always with a smile and a hug whenever we saw him. His loving spirit will always be remembered by all of us Mixons. He loved his wife and kids. We pray that God will be with them on this sad journey and with time, will remind them of his bright and loving spirit, as a husband and a father.
“Weeping endureth for a night but joy cometh in the morning”
Love Jodee, Shellee, Benjii and Butchie Mixon

Condolence from Charlene Tyrell,11336 Creek Eagle San Antonio, TX 78245 on January 18th, 2022 8:42 am

Mrs Janice, Jimmy, Renee, Steven , grand babies and extended family. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. I am so very thankful for the soft spoken, funny and always strong presence in the background watching over us while Mama worked. We always knew you all were looking out for us and that gave us comfort. Mr. Weatherspoon was always there with a watchful eye, his pipe with sweet cherry tobacco, and even to dig us out of the ditchs in the snow with our inexperienced driving! We knew if we were home scared that he would chase the boogie man away if we needed him to check on us. He was a example of what is hard to find these days. A GreaTT Dad, husband, mentor and the best neighbor you could ever have. You all made us part of your family and truly believed in “it takes a village” as evidenced in Mr. Jimmy and Mrs Janice care for us as kids, my friends and even our children. I can’t thank you enough for the memories of the strong but not overpowering presence Mr. Weatherspoon played in our lives. I celebrate his , smile, demeanor and essence of the Blessing that God sent us in a man. Blessings , Honor and much Love – Charlene
