James S. McAfee “Uncle Mac” was born August 18, 1955 to Edna H. Burney-McAfee and Samuel J. McAfee in Columbus, Ohio.
James was a US Army Veteran and avid artist. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren; he was a man of many trades. James lived his life to the best of his ability.
James is preceded in death by parents Edna and Samuel McAfee, grandparents Mary A. Miller and John H. Miller, brother Samuel J. McAfee Jr., and Rickey W. Burney.
James leaves to cherish is memory with sister Mary L. McAfee, daughter Iesha (Iyonna) McAfee, Theron (Jennifer) Viney, Casey Robinson, niecy Andrea (Brian) McDermott, 8 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 1 great granddaughter, special nephews Jory M. Girton, Kieran A. Girton, and Charles McDermott, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to his lifelong friend, Willie “Chilli” Herrington.
James will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
