James Thomas Joyner Sr., age 78. Sunrise September 24, 1938 in Sulphur Springs, AL and Sunset November 27, 2016 in Columbus, OH. James retired from Abbott/Ross Labs and was a member of Greater Ebenezer Cathedral of Praise, where he served as an Associate Minister and on the Usher Board; he was also a Tahitian Noni Distributor. James was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lee Joyner and Iva Mae Harrison; son, James T. Joyner Jr.; great- grandsons, Jayden and Ga’vonte Joyner; brothers, George Joyner and Henry Harrison; sisters, Beulah Harrison and Penny Harrison. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Barbra J. Joyner; daughters, Lela and Loletta Joyner; son, Lonnie (Arnetta Cornett) Joyner; stepson, Santino (Jennifer) Davis; sisters, Lena Meeks, Ella Chambliss and Mae Ruth (Carl) Royal; brother, Willie B. Joyner; 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Greater Ebenezer Cathedral of Praise 2645 Fairwood Ave., Columbus, OH 43207

    Hi Dad i miss you so much just wishing you were here, you were always here for me when i needed you.. If i needed a place to stay i know i could count on you… Our bond was a beautiful bond.. I miss our talks and you coming by to have lunch or you would take me out for lunch… Your memories are forever in my heart.. Missing you loving you daily..
