James W. Arnold Jr. earned his wings and joined the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2024, at Otterbein Gahanna Senior Life Community. James (Jr.) was born in Columbus, Ohio to the union of James Arnold, Sr. and Asilene Arnold on November 27, 1950.

James (Jr.) was preceded in death by his father, James Arnold, Sr.; mother, Asilene Arnold; brother, William ”Billy” (Maxine) Arnold; sister, Alene (Bobby) Brown; nieces, Tracey Brown and Tina (Larry) Washington.
James (Jr) will be greatly missed by sister, Gloria “Nellie” (Charles) Hoover; brothers, Steve “Stevie” (Gwen) Arnold, John (Tammie) Arnold, and Ivan Arnold; nieces, Chiqwita (Mann) Garnes, Ophelia Arnold, Shannon Arnold, Scyrita Hoover, and Shakiya Arnold; nephews, Michael (Kim) Arnold, Stevie (Dee-Dee) Arnold, Jr., Shawn Arnold, Brandon (Shantell) Arnold, Antonio Arnold, Ivan Arnold Jr., Christopher (Samantha) Arnold, Tony Tucker, and James Arnold (III.); Special Acknowledgement to; William (PeeWee) Henley, Charles (Mary) Henley, Donald (Stephanie) Henley, Theresa (Louis) Stritmire, Oliver (Sophea) Henderson, and Anita Jackson; and special friend, Marquita Pinkins. James (Jr.) leaves behind a host of great nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
