May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Ms Jan was a great friend and neighbor to us. We cut each other’s grass and sent each other Christmas cards.
We always looked out for one another on Sawyer. I was proud we attended the same church too. All this to say, Janice was a wonderful caring strong woman and my family will miss her dearly.

Condolence from MiChel Joyce on March 15th, 2020 11:21 pm

Janice to me was, JoyAlwaysNICE.
Janice delightful presence filled a room, she gave of herself to Other’s and Stood Strong for Union Rights. Janice was a Faith driven Daughter, Mother, Grand Mother, Aunt, Friend to many and very Proud of her Family.
Janice and I were BMV co-workers.
Janice once rescued me in 2009, during my broken ankle recovery by driving us to Jeffersonville Outlet. She pushed me in a wheelchair in and out almost every store there, as you know Janice Loved to shop!
We laughed over the fact I couldn’t see over the bags I held for us.
Janice and I enjoyed being Veterans. Every year Janice called me with the list of participating restaurants giving Veterans free meals. November we shared our last Veterans Day dinner together, that I will cherish. We were planning a lunch with other BMV Retirees this summer, now to be in your Honor Janice.
Janice my Friend,
I Salute you.
Mrs. MiChel Joyce

So sorry to hear about Janice’s passing. I worked with Janice while @ Macy’s and affectionately called her “Nana”. When I first met her she was more than overjoyed to tell me about the love she had for her son, grandson and her mom. Janice was always a fun person with a beautiful spirit. Janice loved the Lord and was very committed to First Church of God. I will miss seeing her at church or out and about in Columbus. I pray that Janice’s family will be comforted by the fact that she absolutely adored them. Rest well Janice I will see you in the morning.

Respectfully,

Nicole Cobb
