Janice Lorraine Padgett was born December 10, 1953 in Zanesville, OH to John and Naomi Scipio. She graduated in 1971 from Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio. Janice began working for Nationwide Insurance. She left there and worked for The Ohio Highway Patrol Department where she retired as a Supervisor.
At an early age she became a faithful member of Faith Taberacle COGIC where she held many different positions over the years. Janice also worked on the Board of Isabelle Ridgeway Nursing Home. Janice was in the care of Kobacker House when she went Home to be with Lord on Jone 14, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her father John C. Scipio and her sister Joyce Claire Scipio.
Left to cherish her memories, her husband John Padgett Sr., daughter Johnetta (Joseph) McDowell of California, 3 sons John (Terri) Padgett of Bellfountaine, Jacob (Joy) Padgett and Jason Padgett of Columbus, OH, mother Naomi Scipio and sister SonjaChandler, 4 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews friends and family.
Visitation 5pm and Funeral 6pm Sunday , June 19, 2016 at Faith Tabernacle, 1783 E 23rd Ave. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
