Miss. Janie E Holt, resident of Columbus, Ohio departed this life, April 4, 2021 at Ohio State University Hospital.
Janie was born June 22, 1961, to Mr. James and Tina Holt, in Columbus, Ohio. She was one of 4 children. Janie graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1979.
Janie had worked for The Ohio State University Hospital since 2016, where she had acquired good friends.
Janie is preceded in death by, father, Mr. James Holt; grandmother, Tina Mae Patrick; grandfather, Howard Patrick; stepfather, George McCormick; and stepsister, Adrema Smith.
Janie leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Tina “Mae Mae” McCormick; daughters, Tamika (Thomas) Holt- Hudson and Natori Gilbert; sisters, Patricia (Kevin) Miliner and Minister Tamara K. Johnson; brother, Terence Holt; grandchildren, Na’araha (Kaylen) Alli, Tysean , Tyshaye, Tawaughn, Elijah, Mason and, Amir Hudson, Amia Gedson, Jaleel, Julez, Aalina, and Jaiden Torres; companion for 18 years, Michael Lewis, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Janie will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Pool of Bethesda, 2600 McCutcheon Road.

To my dearest big sister Janie, who I will always love and cherish! I will miss our long conversations, and our belly laughs! I remember we use to take mom’s car from Pat, and drive up and down the alleys…lol. You taught me to not be afraid, but fight..literally..lol..You have always been sweet to me, and it has been a pleasure to call you my sister! I LOVE YOU JANIE ELIZABETH HOLT!.❤

Mommy I’m sure going miss u just your presence your face your voice I can just still hear your voice when you use to call my name you was my protector my rock my back bone my twin I know u in a better place and u did your job before u left u made sure you touch many ppl lives not only that u made sure I was good me and your grandkids just going miss everything shopping going out to eat even most going to the park walking on the trails that u love but u are Truly missed u passed the tourch Down to me and I’m FOREVER CARRY YOUR LEGACY !!!
