On April 7, 2024 Jaron Brown, 25, passed peacefully and suddenly in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 7, 1999, and passed away just thirty days after his 25th birthday. Jaron was the youngest of 3 children, he loved and was loved by all his siblings. He loved cooking, traveling and listening to music while residing at his father’s home in Whitehall, Ohio. He also loved spending time with his father and siblings and the rest of his family and friends.
Making people feel loved was his passion, he offered a lending hand every chance he could. He spent his childhood summers on Cordell at his grandmother’s with his Father. He spent afternoons and weekends playing and making new friends at Schiller Park. He was an adventurer, very curious and inquisitive. He was a thinker and technologist. He was precocious. He was brilliant. In the words of his cousin Ashlee: “he could hang with the adults and chat about whatever, concepts or abstract things” and then would go off and say, “Ok, I’m gonna go and do kid things now”. He spent his early years at Siebert Elementary School, in German Village, and then transferred over to Aims, then to Fort Hays High School where he met some of his closest friends. He was deciding whether to go back to work or start his own clothing line business with his brother at the time of his passing, and was preparing to adjust to a new lifestyle.

Remembering and admiring his life is one of the best ways to pay tribute to him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Denise Lynn Herring; his brother, Julian Christopher Blakey; his sister, Jaylin Herring.

Brown; his sister, Lataisha Monique Hardy-Brown; his brother, Justice Christian Brown-Herring; his sister in law, Y’Ketia Gammons (Stefan); his nieces, Juliana LeAnn Blakey-Brown, Ja’Kira Rilee Jewell Brown-Herring; nephew, Jaimier Osiris Brown-Herring; and his two best friend-brothers, Jordan Jackson Sr. and Ka’Ron Woods Sr. and a host of family and friends.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Saturday April 27, 2024 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

I was really good friends with Jaron’s mother Denise he was a little boy the last time that I seen him I was so sorry to hear that he was gone Phillip and I will continue to keep you all in our Prayers. So sorry for you all’s loss.
I love you so much Jaron not a day goes by i don’t miss you you were my EVERYTHING i hate that your gone you were the best person ever so kind and thoughtful and loving i miss your laugh and your voice I’ll never forget you. I hate saying this but RIP baby
