I am so sad to hear of Jason’s tragic fishing accident and passing. I had fun bowling with him and Donna. He was the best crappie/bluegill catcher I knew! I will always remember him when I cast my line out into the water. My sincere condolenses go out to his family. Jason was a good man. God bless you Jason. RIP.

Condolence from Sandy Cook on April 9th, 2014 12:20 pm

As usual I had told Gary that Friday morning it was too windy to go fishing, and as usual he said “Jason & I got this, we’ll be fine” And in the past they were. One dumb decision cost them their lives. It was fitting they went together. I’ll miss Jason calling me Wifey. My love and prayers go out to his family. We must all remember what good buddies they were and how they enjoyed fishing. Sandy Cook

I just learned of Jason’s death. I was an employee of his for many years when I worked for KFC in Columbus. I know his death was some time ago, but I wanted to let you know how much I respected and loved him. I count him as one of the great men and women who have shaped my life.
