Jay Hollis was born April 10, 1931 and he went home to be with the Lord February 2, 2020.
Jay was a kind hearted person. He loved to go fishing. He was a faithful Michigan fan. He loved to spend time with his family. He loved to tell jokes.
He is preceded in death by parents Bozie Hollis and Mother Vanelle Murray.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; daughter Brenda Hollis, Companion Alberta Matthews, and special cousin Robert Hollis, also a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 1533 Cleveland Ave.
Entombment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
