Ultimately, she became a pivotal example for her family of a woman living a faith-filled life. Jean later became a member of Cornerstone Fellowship currently known as The Meeting Point Church. She was a student of the Word of God and a worshipper who loved to sing the praises of the Lord.

Jean worked for nearly 20 years at Wonder Bread Bakery. The long hours and hard labor caused her to make a career change to become a nursing assistant. She became employed at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber where she retired.

Family was the center of her life and the basis of her joy. As a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and mother-in-law, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.
