Jeffrey A. Carmon, a beloved member of the Columbus, Ohio community, passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 56. He was born on September 9, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio at OSU Hospital to his parents Eddie Lee Carmon and Vonnita Leftwich Carmon. Jeffrey was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School and went on to work in food service before becoming disabled.

Jeffrey was a devoted member of the Beacon of Hope SDA Church in Canal Winchester. He had a great love for R&B music and his favorite artists were Earth Wind and Fire and Luther Vandross. He was also known for his love of family, always cherishing the time he spent with them.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Lee Carmon and Vonnita Leftwich Carmon, as well as his brother Terry Carmon. He is survived by his siblings David Carmon, Jerry Carmon, Edlena Carmon, Arlene Carmon, and Danny Carmon. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss him dearly.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Jeffrey’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Evergreen Burial Park in Columbus, Ohio. Jeffrey’s kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
