Jeffrey Lynn Pollard Sr., 67, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022, after a battle with lung cancer.

Jeffrey was born on July 13,1954 to John Mose Pollard and Margie Lee Pollard (Welch), in Opelika, AL. After graduating from Warren Western Reserve High School in 1972, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served as a Private in the 20th Battalion, 1st Brigade, 39th Regiment, and received an honorable discharge in 1978. Following his service, Jeffrey worked for the General Electric Company in Warren, Ohio, until his retirement in July,1998.

Jeffrey was a diehard fan of the Cleveland Browns and loved making jokes. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards, the lottery, bowling, and bingo. He was a loving father and a man who would give you the shirt off his back, even if he wasn’t wearing one. He never met a stranger! Jeffrey will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Jeffrey was predeceased by his Parents, John Mose Pollard and Margie Lee Pollard, Brothers, Jonathan Pollard and James Pollard, and Brother-in-Law, Charles White. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey W. Pollard Jr., Julianne V. Pollard, Jordan A. Pollard, and honorary daughter, Paige Burns; grandchildren, Ava G. Pollard, Jaiden E. Pollard, and Jacori L. Pollard-StCyr; siblings, Margaret White, John T. Pollard, Jessie Pollard, Joel Pollard, Jerome Pollard, and Marla (Gary) Chilton.
