Our King, Jeremiah Chad Michael (Uncleman) Sanford, age 26, died at Grant Medical Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, July 13, 2012. Born on June 26, 1986 in Columbus, Ohio. He worked for the City of Columbus Parks and Recreation as a Lifeguard. Uncleman won several boxing championship in boxing. In 1995, he won the Golden Gloves Tournament and the Ohio State Fair Tournament; in 1996, he won the Golden Gloves Tournament and the Ohio State Fair Tournament, the State Silver Gloves Championship, and the National Silver Gloves; and in 1997 he won the Golden Gloves Tournament and the Ohio State Fair Tournament, and the Junior Olympics Championship. Jeremiah has always loved football. As a child, he played football for the SBAA Southeast Bulldogs which lead to him playing as a (position) for Brookhaven High School Bearcats leading them to the championship game until he graduated in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Catherine “Honey” Powell, great grandparents James and Julia Bell, sister, Sandy Sanford, and nephew Ricardo Smith. Survived by his parents James and Eleanor Sanford, his Children Damiyah Sanford, Tyrae Walker, and Shaleonna Stewart. Brothers: James T Sanford III, Eugene Sanford, and Rocky (Stephanie) Sanford, and Vonzell Johnson; Sisters: Helena (Antonio) Jenkins, Renee (Dave) Dawes, Jacqueline Sanford, Zina Sanford, and Jonelle Sanford. Nephews: James T (Abony) Sanford, Jermaine Lawrence, Eugene Craig, Anthony Wright, Larry Payne, John Payne, Vincent Burke, Ricardo Rankins, Thomas Smith, Marzette Hawkins, Lorenzo Carmichael, Cameron Smith, Eugene Sanford, Malachai Sanford, and Geovanni Sanford. Nieces: Tameka (Stephen) Ellis, Ashli Sanford, Ozella Howard, Jackie (Mike) Hicks, Abony (Antwan) Clark, Eleanora Sanford, Ozella Sanford, Zina Sanford, Helena Payne, Sheena Smith, Tamera Smith, Crystal Hyatt, Haliegh Scott, Eugenia Sanford, Jocelynn Taylor, Kaylee Harper, Janae Sanford, Zina-Eugenia Sanford, Davionna Dawes, and Daleon Dawes.
