Jessie Jenkins, 60. Sunrise February 3,1949 – Sunset May 29, 2009. Graduate of Linden McKinley High School and U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. Formerly employed by The Ohio State University Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Jenkins and brother Julius Jenkins. Jessie is survived by his mother Jannie Jeter; wife Carlotta Jenkins; sons Dallas Lamont Scott, Darus LaMar Scott, Jessie Julius Scott and James Elliott Scott; daughter Tonya Scott; sisters Hazel (Donald) Greene of Rehoboth, Delaware, Jannet (William) Coles of Dumfries, Virginia, Patricia (Curtis) Bosley and Denise (Carl) Simmons both of Columbus; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; special friend Beverly Nash and a host of other family and friends.
Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with the Jeter & Jenkins family. Continue to lean on God for he has all the healing power.

To our dear sweet family. We loved uncle Jessie and we will miss him dearly. But most of all we will remember how he kept us laughing especially at JR's 40th birthday party and the trip to DC. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers and we will be close by when you need us.
