Jewel Ann Weber Rogers, age 30, went to sleep in the arms of The Lord, on Saturday December 3, 2016. She was born on June 9, 1986, happy and so full of love and life.
Jewel was preceded in her rest by her two brothers Miquel 21 and Stephon 7, and her grandfather Ploy Rogers. She is survived by her four beautiful daughtes, Laiyla A. Pannell 10, Layonna Maxine Pannell Rogers 7, Mystique Powell 3, and Micayla Powell 2. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends, but most of all by her loving Mother and best friend Maxine Rogers, for they were so close.
We say farewell for now, but we shall see you on the other side.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday December 15, 2016 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
To the family of Jewel, you have my condolences in the loss of your loved one. It saddens my heart to know that the enemy death has struck again leaving four beautiful children, and other family and friends to grieve. May you rely on the God of Comfort and his promise that the dead will live again (John 5:28)!
So sorry for your loss. I met Jewel when she came to work at Thirty-One Gifts and I trained her in the department she worked in. She was very sweet and nice and is going to be greatly missed.

Maxine I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter. This must be such a hard time for you. I think of you often and miss seeing you. Please visit me at the library when it reopens in June.
Jewel was like my sister and I am deeply sadened to hear that she’s no linger with us. I will keep her family in my prayers.
