Jimmi Simpson, Jr

SimpsonJimmi e1588180368930

Jimmi Delee Simpson Jr., 25, of Columbus, Ohio was born on Friday, September 16th, 1994 to Ragina Easley and Jimmi Delee Simpson Sr. He attended Columbus City Schools and graduated from Focus Learning Academy High School in 2016 where he blossomed into a wonderful young man. A beautiful soul with a smile that could light up any room. Jimmi loved money, fashion, and most importantly his family.

As a student of “See a Man, Be a Man”, a group that taught young boys what it meant to be a man, Jimmi embodied the core values of the group by taking care of his mother, siblings, nephews and family. He would work as much as he had to in order to make sure his loved ones had whatever they needed.

“Freeway Jimmi” was his name to many as he was a brother of the “Bike Life”. He received this name because he loved to hit the highway and ride his four-wheeler. Always dressed, Jimmi loved high fashion. When he liked something, there was never a price too high. If Jimmi said he loved you, you knew you were loved.

Jimmi is preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Gloria Easley, and great grandmother, Christine Miller.

Jimmi leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Ragina Easley; father, Jimmy Simpson Sr.; grandmother, Margaret Francis Green; brothers, Antone Youngblood Jr., Marvin McCombs Jr., Shawn Grooms, Richard Williams Jr.; sister, Myleigh Williams; fiancée, Kailey Ford; daughter, Jaliyah Marie Simpson; unborn child; nephews, Shawn Jr and Khyi’Shon [who he took part in raising]; aunts, Dionne (Sherwyn) Graves and Leslie Preston-Easley; uncle, Ray Easley; and a host of family, friends, and associates.

Private Services entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
